Okay, maybe they're not that complicated – they basically boil down to the fact that you are scared of the idea of having to live up to his example, which seems impossible because he is universally beloved and you are an asshole, and you can't decide how you feel about the philosophies he preaches, which appeal to something deep in you but go against most of the values that have been ingrained in you for as long as you can remember. The weight of these issues on you has diminished somewhat since you've seen him at his most vulnerable, though, and while you still struggle with the confused need to make him proud of you, right now you'd settle for just making sure he's okay. He is from a future where you guys are moirails – far more troubled and dangerous than you ever knew him to be before – you don't understand him the way he needs to be understood, but you pity him desperately!! It reads like the blurb of one of your trashier pale romance novels and you are kind of embarrassed about the whole thing. You are worried you would be taking advantage of his feelings if you actually tried to act on your feelings and that you wouldn't be able to take care of him, a concern compounded by your fear that he's not only from the future but also from an alternate reality where you are a worthwhile person. Plus he has that thing with the Grand Highblood, but of course you do not resent his thing with the Grand Highblood at all. Nope. No way, not you.

Generally you think of him as like an annoying younger brother, if that was a thing trolls had – he gets on your nerves a lot, but you get some things about each other that other people don't. The idea of relying on her for things is a sort of reassuring one, and sometimes you just think she could really benefit from a formal advice partnership with you. You worry about her quite a lot. Of course, you have no idea whatsoever how she feels about the idea. Maybe you should stop entertaining creepy romantic daydreams about your best friends, buddy.

You have admitted to being flushed for each other, at least, after perigees of awkward incompetent failure and vaguely traumatic attempts to be caliginous, so that's a start, right? You haven't seen too much of Eridan since he showed up, probably because you're more nervous about your blood colour around him than you are with any of your other friends, but it's nice to know he's around, even if you wouldn't really want to have to rely on him for anything. TEREZI PYROPE DROPPED Has been in and out a couple of times and you really wish she'd stay; she's one of your best friends and you trust her a great deal even if she is one of the most ridiculous people you know. She's still uncomfortably intimidating, though, and while you are fairly certain you could trust her if you needed to, and you'd probably go out of your way to help her if the situation arose, you're still a bit scared of her and you'd prefer not to, say, engage her in casual conversation.	DASRAA NASATI mergingDuality You have no idea whatsoever how to feel about Sollux's ancestor at all. Sollux insists that his volatile behaviour is due to Horrorterror interference, and it's true that a while back he was pretty decent to you, so in theory you can give him the benefit of the doubt. However, now that you're not at permanent Peace with everything anymore, the memory of that one time he tore a hole in the roof of your hive and beat the shit out of you for no reason isn't one that you can ignore that easily. You are pretty fucking afraid of him, to be honest.
THEOPHOLOUS DUMEDD ebulliantCordial Human Karkat seems to be pretty tight with this guy but you feel like he is probably a bad influence or something. As far as you can tell he has your other self's best interests at heart, most likely, but you are definitely givin' him the sideeye.
